Terms & Conditions
Last updated: [add date] — these terms accompany every booking made with Brrrow Ltd ("Brrrow", "we", "us").
1. The agreement
These terms sit between you (the hirer) and Brrrow (the owner). The unit and its accessories — hose, window seal kit, remote — remain our property at all times; you hire the use of them, you never own them.
2. Hire period & extensions
Minimum hire is two weeks. Your end date is fixed at booking. You may extend at any time before your collection date, by week or by month, and we will re-price at the cheapest available combination of rates.
3. Rates & payment
£120 per week, £250 per month. We automatically apply whichever combination of rates is cheapest for your dates. Payment is taken in full at booking, by card.
4. Delivery, setup & collection
Delivery, fitting and collection are free within our current coverage area (EN6, EN7 & EN8 postcodes). You will be offered a delivery window; someone aged 18 or over must be present at both delivery and collection to sign for the unit.
5. Deposit & liability
A refundable pre-authorisation of £150 is held on your credit or debit card for the whole rental period. You are responsible for the unit while it is in your care. The hold is released after our collection inspection. Fair wear and tear is always on us; loss or damage beyond that may be charged up to the unit's replacement value.
6. Care & use
Indoor domestic use only, on a standard socket, with the vent hose and window kit fitted as we installed them. Please don't open, modify or move the unit to another property. Keep it upright and clear of standing water.
7. Breakdowns & swaps
If the unit develops a fault, tell us within 24 hours and we'll repair or swap it free of charge. Hire charges pause from the moment you report a fault until the replacement is running.
8. Cancellation & cooling-off
As an online consumer order, you have a 14-day statutory cooling-off period. Free cancellation applies up to 48 hours before delivery. Inside 48 hours, one week's fee is retained and the remainder refunded. If you ask us to deliver within 14 days of booking, you agree that hire begins early under your instruction; cancelling after delivery refunds any unused period beyond the two-week minimum.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability is capped at the hire fees you've paid. We are not liable for losses arising from power cuts or use contrary to Clause 6.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
